For more than 70 years, the Pound Ridge Garden Club has been home to generations of horticulture and floral design enthusiasts. In addition to learning together about gardening technique and flower arranging, we collaborate on a wide range of civic projects to preserve and enhance the natural beauty and neighborly spirit of Pound Ridge.
We are always happy to welcome new members at any level of experience, whether you have extensive knowledge of horticulture and Floral design or little or no knowledge at all. The club is a place to share ideas and information, learn from our many accomplished and talented speakers, and develop your skills as a gardener and designer. |

Our Monday July 14th meeting will be an in-person meeting at the Pound Ridge Library starting at 9:15 a.m. After the business meeting, we will have a floral design workshop for members and prospective members led by Roxane Wasserman. Attendees will work in pairs, pairing off members who have experience in floral design with those members who are new to the experience. The designs covered will be classes that will be included in our 2026 Flower show. Completed designs will be discussed and then be displayed in the library for public viewing.

At our June meeting, Hodgins Harvest's Founder and "Chief Fungi Enthusiast" Aaron Hodgins Davis, discussed the many types of mushrooms and explained how they grow. He showed us how he grows mushrooms at Hodgins Harvest. Afterwards, we all got a chance to create bags of mushroom substrate to take home to harvest our own edible mushrooms. From left to right, photos show setup, after two weeks, first sign of sprouting, and then day 2 after sprouting.
