Interested in joining the Pound Ridge Garden Club?
We are always happy to welcome new members at any level of experience. Some have joined us with extensive knowledge of horticulture and floral design, while others have joined with little or no knowledge at all. The garden club is a place to share ideas and information, learn from our many accomplished and talented speakers, and develop your skills as a gardener and designer. Interested in joining? Please click on the contact tab at the top of the page to send us a message or attend one of our meetings (check out our calendar page for dates/times/speakers) and speak with a member.

The Pound Ridge Garden Club is about more than just design and horticulture. In addition to participating in our biennial flower show, club members march in the Memorial Day Parade, create centerpieces for the annual holiday luncheon for our town's senior citizens, attend monthly meetings to learn about floral design and horticulture, and work together on various projects to enhance the beauty of our town, such as planting daffodils in multiple places throughout Pound Ridge. These are just a few of the ways that we learn together, develop lasting friendships and contribute to our community.
Some of our recent activities
Each year, our club participates in town activities such as the Memorial Day Parade.
We often hold craft workshops. Here, using dried flowers, many of which were grown and dried by club members, we learned how to make decoupaged floral candle holders.
We visited the New York Botanical Gardens and saw the magnificent Orchid Show followed by lunch and shopping on Arthur Avenue.
Civic Improvement at the Historical Society Entrance
On Sunday, April 28, 2019, the Pound Ridge Historical Society held a dedication of a bench honoring the late Quincy Stuart. Her bequest to the garden club funded the Museum's new entrance, including a patio, walkway and plantings as well as the installation of the bench. Quincy was a long-time resident of Pound Ridge, two time president of the Pound Ridge Garden Club as well as a member of the Historical Society.
