Floral Designs for the Holidays
The speaker for our October meeting will be George von Tobel from McArdle’s Florist and Garden Center in Greenwich. He will design and create four holiday themed floral designs which will be auctioned off at the end of the presentation. Proceeds will go toward supporting our community beautification projects.
George is an award winning floral designer having won both first and second place honors at the New York Orchid Show for his bridal designs. He was previously the manager of Greenwich Orchids and for more than 20 years the owner of Flowers by George in Greenwich. He has been a popular speaker at many area garden clubs and we are indeed fortunate to have him kick off the holiday season with his exciting design ideas.
