Our club strives to be part of the life of Pound Ridge in big ways and small. One of our ongoing civic projects is on display every spring as daffodils planted by garden club members erupt into dazzling bloom along town roads. When winter transforms the landscape, members are back at work making wreaths for town buildings and the festive red-ribboned evergreen swags that decorate signposts throughout the holiday season. Our Civic Improvement Committee and Horticulture committee has lead the club in many beautification projects throughout the town, including the design of the Moat family rain garden on route 172 and plantings at the Town House, Historical Society, Conant Hall, and town Cemetery. And, of course, there is our celebrated flower show, an every-other-year event to showcase members' design artistry and horticultural excellence.
